Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the online dating platform operated by Lovada at https://lovada.net ("Service", "we", "us", "Operator"). By accessing the website, registering, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service enables you to create a profile, browse other members, communicate via messaging and optional video features, and use membership options described on the website. The Service is offered to users in multiple countries. You are responsible for ensuring that your use is lawful where you live.

• "User Content" — information, text, photos, video, or messages you upload or send through the Service.
• "Account" — your personal profile and credentials used to access the Service.
• "Applicable Law" — laws that apply to you, including mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence.
• "Personal Data" — information that identifies or can be linked to you, as defined under applicable privacy laws.

The Service is for adults only. By registering, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if higher.

Minors may not use the Service. We may request reasonable age verification and may suspend or delete any Account suspected of belonging to a minor.

You represent that you are not prohibited from using the Service under Applicable Law and that you have not been convicted of a sexual or violent offence that restricts your eligibility where you reside, if such restriction applies.

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information (including email, display name, date of birth, profile details, and preferences) and keep it updated.

You may not impersonate another person, create fake profiles, or operate more than one Account without our written permission.

Your Account is personal and non-transferable. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your Account. Notify us immediately at support@lovada.net if you suspect unauthorized access.

When using the Service, you must not:

• Harass, threaten, abuse, defame, or bully other users.
• Post unlawful, hateful, discriminatory, fraudulent, or infringing content.
• Use the Service for financial scams, extortion, romance fraud, or soliciting money from other users.
• Send spam, unsolicited advertising, or malicious links.
• Upload explicit sexual content in violation of our content standards, or any content involving minors.
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data about other users, or use bots or automated tools without permission.
• Attempt to bypass security, access private photos without authorization, or misuse reporting tools.

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate Accounts at our discretion if we believe these rules are violated, without prior notice where permitted by law.

Our collection and use of Personal Data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Because the Service is international, we process data in accordance with applicable frameworks, including where relevant the EU/UK GDPR, and California CCPA/CPRA. Dating-related data may be sensitive; we apply appropriate safeguards and process it only as needed to provide the Service or with your consent.

Where data is transferred outside your country or the European Economic Area, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

You are solely responsible for User Content you submit. You represent that you own or have the rights to share it.

By uploading User Content, you grant Lovada a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process it solely to operate the Service for you and other users. This license ends when content is deleted, except for reasonable backup or legal retention copies.

We do not routinely monitor all User Content but may review, filter, or remove content as described in these Terms.

Some features may require a paid membership or one-time purchase (for example premium messaging limits, VIP badges, or unlocking video chat via a gift payment). Prices and billing terms are shown before you pay.

Paid plans may renew automatically unless cancelled in advance. Where required by law, we will disclose renewal terms and how to cancel.

EU/EEA consumers: where applicable, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal from distance contracts. If you ask us to begin the Service during the withdrawal period, you may owe a proportionate amount for use already provided.

Payments are processed by third-party providers (such as Stripe). We do not store full payment card details. Refunds are handled according to our refund practices and Applicable Law; fees for periods already used may be non-refundable except where required by law.

The Service, including design, software, trademarks, logos, and Operator-created content, is owned by Lovada or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the Service without prior written consent.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, to the fullest extent permitted by law, without warranties of any kind.

Lovada is not a party to relationships or meetings between users and is not responsible for their conduct, identity, accuracy of profiles, or the outcome of any interaction. Exercise caution when communicating online and before meeting in person.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Applicable Law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lovada and its personnel from claims, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising from your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or unlawful use of the Service, subject to Applicable Law.

The Service is not intended for use by persons subject to international sanctions or embargoes (including those of the UN, EU, UK, or US). By using the Service, you represent that you are not on restricted lists and that your use complies with export and sanctions laws. We may block access from certain regions.

You may stop using the Service and request Account deletion at any time via account settings or by emailing support@lovada.net.

We may suspend or terminate your Account for Terms violations, suspected illegal activity, or legal requirements. Provisions that by nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, indemnity, and governing law) will remain in effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means (for example, email or an in-service notice) where required by law. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms may be translated for convenience. If there is a conflict between a translation and the English version on https://lovada.net, the English version prevails, except where mandatory law in your country requires otherwise.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Operator, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence.

Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts determined by Applicable Law, unless mandatory consumer law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

EU/EEA consumers: you may use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

• Severability: if any provision is invalid, the rest remains in force.
• No waiver: failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
• Assignment: you may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign ours to a successor.
• Entire agreement: these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement regarding the Service.
